You need another package :   tkz-arith.sty  to work with this package but
it's necessary to have a new version of xkeyval.sty, xcolor.sty.
You need also the package numprint.sty. It's the best way to work
with numbers. Now the new version of frenchb-babel can work with it.

The best way to work with tkz-base is to update pgf 1.18 with the cvs version

in utilities, you find pgffor.code.tex. Often, I work  with the 
macro \foreach

The files in the folder "math", are all important for working with
 pgfmath.
